Datta Netralaya, established by Dr. Prabhakar Patil has stood for excellence in eye care since 1981. Datta Netralaya has more than three decades of combined experienced hands in eye care. Datta Netralaya is the First Eye Hospital in Yavatmal to start sutureless cataract surgery by phacoemulsification (Year 2000) and topical (without injection) phacoemulsification surgery (Year 2002). Again our Hospital is the First in Yavatmal to introduce Abbott Sovereign Compact System Machine with Ellips FX Technology which provides Phacoemulsification with longitudinal and Transverse ultrasound. A firm commitment to quality is at the heart of all the services provided at our hospital in Yavatmal. We are one of the very few hospitals in Yavatmal with all the specialties of eye care under one roof making cross consultation easy and seamless. He has performed the highest number of Multifocal Toric lens implantation in Vidarbha. He is also credited with the implantation of first Trifocal Intraocular lens implantation.

We are the first to install Optical Coherence Tomography machine for retinal check up and Glaucoma check up. We also have Perimetry for Glaucoma evaluation.
